International Trade is a key sector that has been steadily developing within the Netinvet network over the years. It is particularly dynamic in terms of European mobility, as international experience is almost an intrinsic expectation of vocational training in this field. Through mobility projects, learners develop essential cross‑border, intercultural, and professional skills that are central to their future employability.
Transport and Logistics is the founding sector of the Netinvet network and remains one of its most developed pillars. As a result, it benefits from a rich ecosystem of VET schools, a high volume of European mobility activities, and well-established solutions for the recognition of skills acquired abroad. The sector has played a key role in developing validated approaches to competence recognition, including micro‑credentials, supporting learners’ employability and professional mobility across Europe.
Automotive is a highly collaborative sector within the Netinvet network, with strong cooperation between members, particularly in the truck segment. This collaboration is illustrated by the KA2 project “Driving the Future”, which focuses on training for the maintenance of electric industrial vehicles. In recent years, the sector has also been very active in professional exchanges, with several dedicated job shadowing activities organized in 2025 and 2026, strengthening shared practices and expertise among VET professionals.
Retail Business is a more recent sector within the Netinvet network, but one that is rapidly growing. Highly open to international experiences, the sector offers strong opportunities for European mobility for VET learners, for whom cross‑border exposure to customer relations, merchandising, and commercial practices is particularly valuable. This openness makes Retail Business a dynamic and promising sector for the development of high‑quality European mobility projects within Netinvet.
