NETINVET participation in high-level event of the European Alliance for Apprenticeships (EAfA)
Jean-André Lasserre, Vice President of NETINVET, and Neus Caufapé, General Secretary, were both invited by the European Commission to participate in the high-level event of the EAfA.
The 4 years anniversary of the European Alliance for Apprenticeships was the occasion to look back on the achievements of the Alliance and to set new objectives and goals for the coming years which was clearly expressed in the slogan of the event: 'Celebrating success and looking ahead'.
The agenda included the session Boosting VET mobility in which Mr. Lasserre had the opportunity to speak about our network (Lessons learnt from NETINVET, please see attached file) and to outline the reasons for its success. Mr. Joao Santos, Deputy Head of Unit Vocational Education and Adult Education, presented the future launching of the ErasmusPRO programme. In the following discussion, Detlef Eckert, Director of the DG for Employment of the European Commission, highlighted the good example of NETINVET.
During the event, Mr. Lasserre and Ms. Caufapé had the opportunity to speak to Mr. Santos and Mr. Eckert about NETINVET and about mobility perspectives under ErasmusPRO. Accordingly, in the course of the meeting of the Steering Committee held in Lleida (Spain), special attention was given to the possibilities of implementation of ErasmusPRO through NETINVET.
