End of the ESITL project - The outcomes

ESITL is led by NETINVET and associates three strategic stakeholders for the development and implementation of vocational training: education and training providers, sector representatives and competent authorities (as associated partners).

In European Union countries, the international trade and logistics sectors play a crucial role by creating more than 20 million jobs. The growth of these sectors is closely tied to economic interdependence and increasing competition. However, this growth also comes with challenges related to technological advancements, environmental issues, and security requirements. As a result, the nature and scope of skills required by operators and learners are constantly evolving.
To address these changes and enhance learners' abilities, the European network NETINVET has been working since 2011, representing over 100 schools in 10 countries. Their primary goal is to offer practical resources and solutions to promote and improve learning mobility in other countries.
NETINVET's efforts have been focused on The European Skills for Trade and Logistics (ESITL) project, which received funding from Erasmus +. This project has resulted in the creation of two job profiles that emphasize environmental and digital aspects, as well as two repertoires of skills organized into skill units. Additionally, the project has developed training tools, including modules for mobility training, assessment tools, and recommendations, along with scenarios for successful mobility.
A leaflet summarizing the project's outcomes has been produced by the project partners, you can download it below.
