Online workshops to facilitate the launch of new projects within the NETINVET network
The NETINVET network organised and facilitated a second online conference for its member schools with the aim to continue promoting European mobility and cooperation projects despite the ongoing sanitary crisis.
The online event took place on Friday 19th of March and was attended by over 60 teachers, trainers and mobility coordinators from seven different European countries (Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Portugal and Spain). The event was divided into two complementary parts, on the one hand to present good practice examples of mobility projects implemented within the network and on the other hand to connect member schools interested in the same topics and cooperation ideas through interactive workshops.
Presentation of good practices within the network
Three French teachers presented their current mobility projects with the aim of encouraging other members to launch their own initiatives and to continue their efforts to work transnationally even in this complicated context of the health crisis. The first two examples focused on virtual mobility to enable students of Transport & Logistics manager and International Trade trainings (both at EQF level 5) to experience working in an intercultural professional environment, despite the absence of real mobilities. French Transport & Logistics students are currently working with their German and Portuguese peers on the question "How are Road Transport Companies dealing with Sustainable Development?" with the aim of finding the best examples in the three countries and presenting the results in English to the other groups. As for the French International Trade students, they are "On the Way To Taiwan" with their Spanish counterparts to carry out market research on the sale of a new product and to compare their working methods. Finally, the third testimony presented the steps necessary to implement a long-term mobility and the obstacles to be overcome in order to carry it out, despite the health restrictions – a successful bet, since the young French student is currently in Barcelona, thus giving a sign of hope to all the members of the network that European mobility is still possible.
11 interactive online workshops to start new projects
After the plenary presentations, several workshops were organised in two rounds. These workshops were facilitated by members of the network that want to start new projects and are still looking for partners. The other members thus had a wide range of choices between real or virtual mobility projects, cooperation initiatives to promote internships or study mobility, intercultural exchange or international study programmes.
This interactive workshop format attracted a lot of interest, as shown by a short live survey at the end of the online event. The next NETINVET webinar will take place on 17th of May and will therefore again offer this type of digital workshop.
